About Peggy
Peggy Otter is a memoir author whose work explores family, identity, and the beliefs that shape our lives. Her writing examines the stories we inherit, the roles we learn to play, and the ways childhood continues to influence us long after we've grown up.
Her debut memoir, Unacceptable, is currently in professional editing.
When she's not writing, Peggy works as a Vice President of Operations and lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Why I Write
I write because stories have the power to help us feel seen, understood, and connected.
My hope is that readers see pieces of themselves in my work, not because our lives are the same, but because the emotions beneath them often are.
If my writing helps someone feel understood or helps them understand someone they love a little better, then it has done what I hoped it would.
